The "Figures on a black background" works were created during the lockdown period due to the Covid -19 pandemic. They want to represent the recognition of the opportunities that man can seize from the difficult and dark moments that everyone can experience in times and places different from their own life. From the darkness white and colored figures can emerge that with their elegance and fluidity remind us that time does not stop and that, sooner or later, the difficulties will pass.
Sculpture represents a particularly stimulating tool of artistic expression because allows material to be transformed into forms which, with the support of light, highlight a changing creative beauty.
Working with matter has always been an instinctive desire and even if it is not always very practical, it is still stimulating and fascinating.
